Planning a road trip? Don't forget your E-ZPass tag! All traditional toll booths along the New York State Thruway have been replaced with a cashless tolling system.
Vehicles without E-ZPass tags will be photographed and a bill for the non-discounted toll will be mailed to the vehicle's registered owner.

E-ZPass tags for 2-axle private passenger vehicles can be purchased for $25 in the Broome County Clerk’s Office and in the Binghamton and Endicott DMV offices. No appointments are necessary! We're located at:

Although the DMVs can only accept cash for E-ZPass, the Clerk's Office accepts cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express).
After purchasing your E-ZPass, you must register it online at www.e-zpassny.com or by calling 1-800-697-1554.
Once registered, the tag will be activated within 24-48 hours. $25 will automatically be credited to your account to start your toll balance. Then all you have to do is attach your E-ZPass to your windshield and start saving!
