(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The Broome County Planning Department will host a virtual presentation of the Broome County Local Waterfront Revitalization Strategy on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 4:00 PM. During this meeting project, consultants will provide an overview of the final plan, present projects and recommendations, and discuss next steps for implementation. The Broome County Local Waterfront Revitalization Strategy focuses on the county’s designated inland waterways including the Susquehanna, Chenango, Tioughnioga and Delaware Rivers, and Nanticoke Creek.
The Local Waterfront Revitalization Strategy used a collaborative framework to establish a unified vision for the waterfront as well as outline recommendations to address local and regional waterway issues, guide future development and promote public waterfront access throughout the county.
