Scarecrow Contest & Display Returns to Otsiningo Park

(TOWN OF DICKINSON, NY) – Preparations are underway for the 9^th Annual Broome County Parks, Recreation and Youth Services Scarecrow Contest & Display at Otsiningo Park, sponsored by the Broome County Stop-DWI Program.

The event will take place from October 1^st to the 23^rd. Individuals, families, businesses, clubs, groups, and organizations are encouraged to create a friendly scarecrow to display at Otsiningo Park and for a chance to win prizes. Entry is FREE of charge. Entry forms and more information can be found at  https://broomecountyny.gov/parks/events/scarecrowcontest.

Community members can visit Otsiningo Park starting October 1^st to cast their vote for their favorite scarecrow. Prizes will be given to the top five most voted scarecrows.

Entry forms are due by September 25^th. Scarecrows must be completed and set up at the park by October 1^st. Voting will begin October 1^st to the 23^rd.
