Broome County Health Department Issues Public Health Statement September 21

(BINGHAMTON, NY) The Broome County Health Department has learned a person who was at J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home Inc., located at 141 Main Street in Binghamton, on September 16 has tested positive for COVID-19. 

If you were at that location on September 16th between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. we ask you to self-quarantine until October 1st. Contact your healthcare provider if you develop symptoms. 

The Broome County Health Department has also learned of a possible exposure at Abel’s Pub, located at 65 Rotary Avenue in Binghamton, has tested positive for COVID-19. 

If you were at the location on September 10th, September 13th after 5:00 p.m., September 15th or September 18th between 11:45 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. we ask you to self-quarantine for 14 days after your exposure date.

Broome County officials remind you to wash your hands, wear your facial coverings and continue to maintain social distancing.
