The Broome County Department of Solid Waste Management is accepting grant applications for the Community Beautification and Environmental Stewardship Grant Program. These mini-grants offer a range of funding based on project scope and funding availability.
Funding is up to $2,500 to communities, non-profits, and schools to encourage community beautification and environmental stewardship.
Eligible project opportunities must focus on one of the following:
- Litter prevention
- Waste reduction
- Recycling
- Beautification
- Community greening- street plantings
- Composting
- Community gardens
Applications are due by November 10th, 2023, before 3:00 pm and must be emailed to debra.smith@broomecountyny.gov
