Louis P. Augostini, Jr., also known as Louie G, was elected to the County Legislature for the first time in 2024 to represent Legislative District 12. District 12 is made up of parts of the Towns of Union and Dickinson, and the Villages of Johnson City and Port Dickinson.
Louie is a former radio DJ and currently works for the Town of Union. Public service runs in Louie’s family. His father, Louis “Lou” P. Augostini, Sr., is former County Legislator and Legislative Clerk, and his brother is a local municipal official.
Louie and his wife, Shannon, live in Dickinson and Louie graduated from Johnson City High School.
