Broome County DSS Building Closed Tuesday, May 21
Due to the discovery of a suspicious item, around 1:40 p.m., the Broome County Department of Social Services, located at 36-42 Main Street, Binghamton, is closed for the rest of the day, Tuesday, May 21st, 2019. This is for the safety of employees and the public. As a precaution the building was evacuated, and emergency crews responded. This is an active investigation. There is no immediate danger to the public
The building is expected to open as normal on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019.
