Pay Rate: Unpaid - 1 position
Eligible for MPA graduate students
The Broome County Clerk's Office is looking for a graduate level student intern. Tis will be a research heavy internship with focuses on policy and financial analysis, strategic planning, and grant writing for a local government office. Some standard professional office work will be included. there will be occasional opportunities to participate in special projects and events as they occur (meetings with other departments, naturalization ceremonies, etc.)

Responsibilities include primarily representing the County in Family Court for JD and PINS matters, handling litigation in State and Federal Court, contract drafting and negotiations, and advising various County departments. This is a full-time position. The applicant must be an admitted attorney.
