Pay Rate: Unpaid 10-40 hrs/wk. College credit awarded as coordinated with school.
No prior experience. Requires strong communication skills, multitasking skills and planning skills. Must be able to pass a Federal and NYS drug test and background check. Must have valid driver's license.
The Greater Binghamton Airport is looking for an intern available to work from the spring until the end of the summer. This intern will work under the direction of the Commissioner of Aviation and the Deputy Commissioner of Aviation. Intern responsibilities will include but are not limited to a combination of office and field work with a focus on Airport Administration. This position is ideal for those interested in event planning, airline relations, government procurement, facilities management, and marketing. The intern will be relied upon to assist with event duties, deliveries, and planning. Additional duties may include computer work, research, filing, inventory, design work, and social media utilization.

This is a professional administrative position that involves managing, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating a County-wide program for emergency services.
