From the Broome County Department of Public Works: South Street, a County-owned Road located on in the Town of Barker, will be closed to all traffic starting on November 7, 2022 at 7:00 a.m. for a culvert replacement between the intersections of Cloverdale Road and Pixley Road. It will reopen to traffic on or about 5:00 p.m. on November 11, 2022.
All local traffic will need to seek alternate routes while the road is closed. A signed detour route will not be in place during the closure.
