Celebrate Joyful Aging at the Broome County Office for Aging’s World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Expo

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – Join the Broome County Office for Aging on Wednesday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Broome West Senior Center at 2801 Wayne Street, Endwell, NY 13760.

Help us celebrate the joy of aging while learning how to protect and empower older adults. Our goal of this event is to learn ways to empower yourself and others and learn how to prevent ageism and elder abuse. There will be activities, visits from elected officials, speakers, information on services, and more.

Lunch will include a choice of marinated chicken, or a beer battered fish sandwich, served with sides and a brownie dessert. Reservations are required for lunch and must be made by noon on Tuesday, June 3. A voluntary contribution of $4 is requested for those age 60+ and spouse of any age. Those under 60 are charged $5.

You do not need to reserve a spot to attend the event, only if you would like a meal.
