(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The following work is scheduled on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, August 25^th.

• Paving on Stateline Road – County Route 225 (from Old Route 17 to the Pennsylvania Line)
• Cleaning ditches and rebuilding shoulders on Colesville Road, Owen Hill Road, South Street & Old State Road
• Culvert work on Old State Road, Stratmill Road, Hyde Street & Owen Hill Road
• Grader patching on Park Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue/Hawleyton Road & Old State Road
• Surface treatment on Kent Street/Trim Street – County Route 032 & Fox Farm Road – County Route 028
• Mowing right of way on several county roads
• Painting on various county roads

Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progresses. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
