(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The following work is schedule on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, June 16th.
- Ditch cleaning on Old State Road, Old Route 17, Conklin Forks Road, Broome County Airport Road & Tracey Creek Road
- Grader patching on Trim Street
- Guide rail repairs on Old Route 17, Oquaga Lake Road, Fox Farm Road & Pierce Creek Road
- Milling on Glenwood Road – County Route 113 (from Prospect Street to Linda Drive)
- Culvert work on West Chenango Road, Farm to Market Road, Bevier Street & Oquaga Lake Road
- Mowing right of way on several county roads
Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progresses. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
