(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The following work is scheduled on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, May 18th.
- Cleaning ditches on Glenwood Road & Ballyhack Road
- Rebuilding shoulders on Oquaga Lake Road
- Guide rail repairs on East Maine Road & Cherry Valley Hill Road
- Culvert work on Pierce Creek Road, Glenwood Road, East Windsor Road & Owen Hill Road
- Fixing potholes on Old Route 17 & East Windsor Road
- Road sweeping crews will be in the Kirkwood & Conklin areas
Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progress. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
