(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The Broome County Division of Solid Waste Management will be hosting multiple offsite electronics recycling collections for all Broome County residents in July and August.

The first drive up event will be held on Saturday, July 19 at the Endicott Municipal Lot, located at 7-9 Madison Ave, Endicott, NY 13760.

The second event will be held Saturday, August 9 at Klumpp Park in Windsor, located at 88 Park Street, Windsor, NY 13865.

The third and final event will be held on Saturday, August 30 at the Park and Ride Lot in Chenango, 146 Chenango Bridge Road, Binghamton, NY 13901.

All events will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Event attendees will not need to leave their vehicles for the event; electronics will be removed from your vehicle by county staff for recycling.

These events are for Broome County residents only and can only be used for residential disposal. Businesses or out of county residents may not utilize this event.

Accepted material for recycling includes:

• Computers

• Monitors

• Printers

• TVs

• VCRs

• Modems

• Stereos

• Laptops

• Keyboards

• Radios

• Fax Machines

• Pagers

• Mobile Phones

Items that will not be accepted:

• Countertop Appliances (coffee makers, toasters, can openers, etc.)

• Batteries

• Telephones

• Answering machines

• Vacuums

• Humidifiers

• Smoke Detectors

• Large Appliances (dryers, washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.)
