(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – Do you have questions about planning for end of life or long-term care, setting up a health care proxy, or creating a will? The Broome County Office for Aging Caregiver Services invites you to attend a presentation that covers essential topics in estate planning and advance directives.
The event will feature two expert presenters:
- Nancy Kline from Coughlin and Gerhart LLP will discuss Advance Directives, including Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, and Living Wills
- Karen McMullen from Levine, Gouldin, and Thompson LLP will present Should I Give My House to My Kids?, Medicaid Eligibility for Nursing Home Care, 5-year lookback, Life Estate, and Irrevocable Trusts
This event will take place on November 18th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Broome West Senior center. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and is offered by reservation only.
Presentations will begin around 12:15 p.m. Advanced registration is required. Please call the Office for Aging at 607-778-2411 to register.
