Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 8/26

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The following work is scheduled on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, August 26^th.

• Patching on Oquaga Lake Road
• Paving on Kattelville Road (weather dependent)
• Paving on Prospect Street - between Airport Road & Glenwood Road (weather dependent)
• Surface treatment on Murphy Road (weather dependent)
• Ditching on Knapp Road, East Maine Road, Stateline Road & Old Route 17
• Cross road culvert replacements on Knapp Road
• Manhole repairs continue on Oakdale Road
• Closed drainage work continues on the Route 26 end of Bunn Hill Road
• Striping to county and town roadways
• Mowing roadside on several county roads
