(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The Broome County Office for Aging will be distributing $25 Farmers Market Coupon Vouchers to eligible New York State residents aged 60 and older. These vouchers can be used to purchase fresh produce at local farmers markets.

Eligibility requirements:

• Aged 60 or older (proof of age required)
• New York State resident
• Have a Broome County Office for Aging ID card or complete an application on site

AND

Income guidelines:

• $2,413/month or less for a 1-person household; Or
• $3,261/month or less for a 2-person household; Or
• $4,109/month or less for a 3-person household

Proof of income is not required. All eligible individuals may receive one booklet per year.

Please bring your Office for Aging ID card. ID card applications are available at all Broome County Senior Centers, can be printed at www.broomecountyny.gov/senior/idcard, or filled out on site during the event.
