The examinations are $30.00 each and are NON-REFUNDABLE. (Payment accepted: Check, Money Order or Credit/Debit Card (if applying for both exams, you can do one check/money order for $60.00). Check/Money Orders can be made out to BCOMB (Broome County Office of Management & Budget) If paying by credit/debit there is a processing fee.
Please note: Be sure to put your full date of birth on applications (00/00/00) (Candidates must be at least 19 years of age to take the examination and not older than 35)
Driver’s License: Candidates must possess a valid New York State Operator’s drivers license at time of appointment.
Qualifying Physical Fitness Screening Tests have been tentatively schedules for Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 9:00 AM and Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 9:00 AM.
YOU MAY ONLY PARTICIPATE ONCE. THIS IS NOT A RE-TEST OPTION.
Letters will be mailed to you regarding the physical agilities.
