DROP-OFF SITES (Residents Only- No Businesses)
As of June 8, 2011 all retailers selling rechargeable batteries are required to accept back the same type of rechargeable battery for recycling. Check with a local retailer. NOTE: Store locations will only accept rechargeable batteries.
The Broome County Landfill, Wegman's, the Broome County Library and the SUNY Broome Ice Center accept all household batteries such as alkaline, button batteries and rechargeable batteries for recycling. Please tape the ends of the batteries.

Collection container is located in the recycling area.
