Twin Tiers Honor Flight to Take Off from Greater Binghamton Airport

(TOWN OF MAINE, NY) Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and Broome County Department of Aviation Commissioner Mark Heefner joined officials from the Twin Tiers Honor Flight today to announce details of the Mission 10 Twin Tiers Honor Flight taking off from the Greater Binghamton Airport this spring.

On Saturday, April 18, 2020 Honor Flight, Mission 10, will take off from the Greater Binghamton Airport landing in Washington, D.C with approximately 160 veterans, guardians and staff.

The Twin Tiers Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created to honor America’s veterans for their sacrifices. The organization transports veterans to Washington, D.C. to see their memorial at no cost. Top priority is given to WWII, Korean, Vietnam era veterans as well as terminally ill veterans from all wars. 

Guardians fly with veterans on every flight to assist and help veterans have a safe, memorable and rewarding experience.
