Thank you to everyone who attended the 1st Annual Ice Fishing Derby at Greenwood Park on Saturday! 
It was a cold day, but that didn’t stop people from getting out on the ice.

Gear up for the Broome County Parks Ice Fishing Derby at Greenwood Park! Join us for an exciting day of fishing! 100% pay out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place. Winners will be determined by length and weight will be a tie breaker. 30-minute mini derby prizes throughout the day for adults and kids. Registration is limited to 200 angler, we encourage participants to pre-register by emailing your name and number to bcparks@broomecountyny.gov and pay the day of at the event. CASH ONLY!
The event will include concession stand with warm drinks and food for purchase (CASH ONLY) and a warming station. Also, enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing, rentals available!

***All participants must adhere to the DEC fishing regulations for New York Stat****
No equipment will be provided at this event. Please bring any necessary equipment you make need. We can assist in digging holes for fishing.
Rules
- Only legal fish caught at Greenwood Park may be entered. This includes crappie, panfish-blue gills/pumpkinseed, and rainbow trout
- No machines on ice which 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, track sleds.
