Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 8/19

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) – The following work is scheduled on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, August 19^th.

• Patching on Cherry Valley Hill Road
• Milling and paving continue on Prospect Street and Downs Avenue
• Paving prep on Kattelville Road
• Ditching on Knapp Road, East Maine Road, North Road & Stratmill Road
• Cross road culvert replacements on Knapp Road
• Manhole repairs continue on Oakdale Road
• Closed drainage work continues on the Route 26 end of Bunn Hill Road
• Striping to county and town roadways
• Mowing roadside on several county roads
