(BINGHAMTON, NY) - Broome-Tioga Workforce NY and the Broome County Library are teaming up to bring employment services back to downtown Binghamton.
“This partnership is vital to fulfilling County Executive Jasons Garnar’s mission of eliminating the public’s barriers to life changing services,” Robert C. Murphy, Executive Director of Broome-Tioga Workforce NY. “People who could benefit most from our services, many times, have limited access to transportation. Making our services consistently available to folks who lack transportation is vitally important, not only to the job seekers, but to employers in the community trying to find valuable employees as well.”

The satellite office hours will be held at the Broome County Library 185 Court Street, Binghamton, New York. The office will be open from 9:30am to 3pm every Friday starting on August 9th, 2024.
Broome-Tioga Workforce NY operates two One Stop American Job Centers to assist local businesses with recruiting and training, and to assist local residents by providing career advice, resume help, and training assistance. The Broome-Tioga Workforce NY offices are located at 501 Reynolds Rd in Binghamton, and at the Tioga County Human Services building located at 1062 Route 38 in Owego.
Broome-Tioga Workforce NY is a unique partnership between Tioga and Broome Counties, the New York State Department of Labor, and the regional business community to help businesses recruit and retain talented workers, assess, and respond to current and future workforce needs, and help individuals obtain rewarding career opportunities.
