Hooper Road Intersection to be Closed for Bridge Replacement
(TOWN OF UNION, NY) – The Broome County Department of Public Works will be temporarily closing a section of Hooper Road, a county-owned road located in the Town of Union, from July 15, 2024, at 7 a.m. to July 29, 2024, at 4 p.m. The road will be closed to replace the Hooper Road Bridge over Patterson Creek.
The closure will be limited to the intersection of Hooper Road and Farm to Market Road to the intersection of Hooper Road and Pheasant Lane, with access provided for local traffic only.
All thru traffic will need to seek alternate routes while the road is closed. A detour utilizing local roads will be in place.
