Broome County Executive Jason Garnar joined the Binghamton Bulldogs on Wednesday to announce an initiative for veterans for the upcoming basketball season. The County has purchased 100 tickets that will be available for free to local veterans for home games this season at the Bulldogs Sports Complex
“We are constantly looking for ways to give back to our veterans,” said Broome County Executive Jason Garnar. “After all they’ve done for us, the least we can do is find small ways like this to say ‘thank you.’ I appreciate our Veterans’ Services Agency, the Bulldogs, and everyone in the County for supporting this initiative.”
The Bulldogs open their season this Saturday, October 29th at 7:05 against the Mass Wolves. To redeem their free ticket, veterans can visit the Bulldogs box office, located at the Sports Complex on Robinson Hill Rd. in Johnson City and present their veterans ID. Tickets are good for any home game, but the Bulldogs are encouraging veterans, their families, and the community to pack the gym on Saturday, November 12th for Military Appreciation Night.
