Old Route 17 to be Closed for Culvert Construction
(TOWN OF WINDSOR, NY) From the Broome County Department of Public Works: Old Route 17 (CR 28), a County-owned highway located in the Town of Windsor, shall be closed to traffic on September 7, 2021 at 7:00 am and reopened to traffic on or about 5:00 pm November 9, 2021. The closure shall be in the vicinity of the Old Route 17 and Ostrander Road intersection. The road will be closed for the purpose of concrete box culvert construction.
All local traffic will need to seek alternate routes while the road is closed. A signed detour route will be posted. A detour map can be found here.
