(VESTAL, NY) The Broome County Health Department was notified today that a resident at Willow Point Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has tested positive for COVID-19. At this time no other residents or employees are displaying signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
The identified resident has been moved to a negative pressure room in the facility. The unit that the resident lives in is on strict droplet precautions at this time. Staff at Willow Point will continue monitoring all residents for changes.
If any other resident tests positive for COVID-19 they will also be moved to the negative pressure room. If your loved one has or does test positive for COVID-19 you will receive a personal phone call from the facility.
