(TOWN OF DICKINSON) On Friday County Executive Garnar also announced this week’s Broome County COVID-19 Community Champion. This Champion is Barbara Knighton. Knighton is the coordinator of the Monday night community dinner at St. Michael’s Recreation Center.
She has been doing this work for five years, but thanks to her leadership and thoughtfulness, they were able to transform this community meal to a grab & go meal for people who need it during this time.
100-200 meals are served every Monday and they also provide grab bags of bread and produce.
