Empire State Development Updates Guidance on Automotive Sales

In-Person Vehicle Showing Allowed

New York State has updated their guidance when it comes to automotive sales. Today the guidance given by Empire State Development (ESD) has been changed to allow in-person showing of vehicles, by appointment only.

The language on ESD’s website states automotive sales can be conducted remotely or electronically with in-person vehicle showing, return and delivery by appointment only.

“This is a first step in the reopening of our economy here in Broome County as we get through the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Broome County Executive Garnar. “We are moving in the right direction in getting our businesses up and running in a safe, responsible way.”
